I got up and left for work 1 HOUR EARLY! just so that I could drive my newly aquired 4L Chimaera around and about the back roads and A roads in the surrounding area of Fleet before I actually got into the office.

Is this a usual addiction?

You'll be on first name terms with your local shell garage before you know it...

You'll end up arriving home an hour or two or more late for the same reason next!

Welcome to TVR ownership!

Remember no to get carried away and forget all about work

My local Shell garage know my name, even gave me a lift back to my car when I ran out of petrol

I am also on first name terms with the motor spares shop but that’s through owning the Mini

I am not sure which is louder - my exhaust or the sound of the shell bosses rubbing their hands together.

Have just started commuting in my tiv due to sale of company car.

thought it was gonna be a nightmare... loads of traffic, no pas, no aircon.

however, it is superb. Very nimble in and out of traffic; the torque means I can bolt thru gaps in the mumblies and when the traffic clears I can blatt much more quickly to the next hold up/lights/junction/roadworks.

Am setting PBs for getting to work every day!

Have you managed to stay away from the Leven Technology brochure so far?

Accidentally on purpose had a browse this morning and as a result now have a large box of goodies on its way for the new 500. I didn't dare add up the bill!
