Famous snooker playing TVR owner

I heard that Snooker player Mark Williams traded his Ferrari in for a TVR but crashed it at Christmas time.

Does anyone know more?

(don't recall a thread about this at the time, could have missed it though)

There was a profile of Williams on during last years championship. He was being interview whilst in his Noble along some nice empty B-roads.

He was making comments such as "I love going out for a drive", "you cant beat a bit of speed" etc etc.

I seen Dale Winton driving a XK8 Cab a few years ago, in Hampstead. It was a scary experiance.

I distinctly remember reading an article by J Clarkson when he reported that the factory had decreed that these cars were for the exclusive use of the heterosexual community.
