noise of a T350

I saw one today in real life for the first time. It was just a bit louder than a normal car to make me look as it came past. However, a chimera doing about the same speed the other week sounded much louder.
Are T350's generally more quiet?
Very nice car BTW, think it was dark red, although it was dark. 'J1033 TVR' or similar, anyone on here?

I also saw one in the flesh for the first time today at the local dealers. It was loud, but didn't have much character. I'd still chop in the Griff given the chance...
