Mark, now you've had it for a wee while - what's the comparison like? speedwise?

There's always been loads on here about whether 450s are quikcer than 400s and 500s quicker than 'em all etc so what's the low-down?

And where is that extra power? Low-down - all thru the rev range?

Interested to know.

Hi Mike,

I've been meaning to find the time to do a proper run down on the differences - will try and get that done this weekend.

In short, its breathtaking. When I first drove the 400 home I had a permanent daft grin on my face. In the 500 it was more a mix between open mouth, shock, awe and a dash of terror!

Its a recent retrofit by the previous owner. Apparently followed an incident involving his girlfriend forgetting to apply the handbrake after parking the car.
