Hi everyone. The Tuscan S has bigger ventilated discs than the standard Tuscan and I was wondering if the braking is vastly different. I still have a chance to amend my order tomorrow and as the 'not so great' braking is my only real concern about owning a Tuscan I am considering changing my order to an S. Obviously the Tuscan S has bigger discs because it has more power, but if both cars were travelling at the same speed how much better would the braking in the S be. It's a major concern to me as I'd rather spend the extra money on a Tuscan S, if it means less chance of me plowing into the back of another car!!!
I'm going to be asking my dealer the same question, but I thought i'd ask for some advice on here as I don't always trust salesmen!! Thanks Steve

modern brakes are easily able to brake enough to lock the wheel. Surly either brake could do this, the only advantage I can think of is brake fade. But you should be in the right gear anyway.
