Haven't missed an issue yet though they arrive battered - which doesn't bode well for fragiel items !!

Slightly off thread, but watched a Royal Mail van in Morpeth two saturdays ago, blasting his horn at the car in front for not getting out of his way. The car in front was legitimately turning left with his left indicator flashing but was impeded by pedestrians crossing the junction. If i could remember the impatient t*ats number I would have reported him to his gaffers. He sped off, white (red actually) van man style, wheels spinning. To$$er!

I've only been subscribed for the last 3 months, but mine have all turned up fine. Perhaps there is someone in you local sorting office that likes EVO & is being dishonest ?

Big Col,
Just how do you know that Royal Mail lost it??

What evidence do you have that it left the printing/ mail house which EVO use ??

Its very easy to blame Royal Mail, but have you checked out EVO's mailing system??

Oh yes, I do work for RM and proud of it.

Colin L.
By any chance were you in Morpeth two Saturdays ago, Sir? Would you like to accompany us down to the Station? What do you mean you put a Chimaera V8 in your Royal Mail van?

But Sir, we do have to be fast to get the mail there on time??
It is the fastest Postie Van in the land.

How many stamps does it take to pay the fine??

No that's not a bribe !!!

I can personally confirm that Royal Mail vans are capable of hitting 60mph from standstill in a distance of less than 150metres...
Happens outside my office every day and it never fails to amuze me!?!

Local police did a speed test in out parish - top speed was 52 mph in a 30 zone, by the Post Office van.... Needless to say a few conversations were had

Only a matter of time before UK PO follows USA PO into bankruptcy....

I work for RM too - did my stint as driver many moons ago and thoroughly enjoyed the driving experiences with some great memories blasting around North London and generally annoying everybody else on the road especially the Black Cabbies & Bus Drivers!! We used to time ourselves who could do the quickest last collection - the record I seem to recall for a 2 hour duty was 25 minutes.....Aaaaah those were the days!!!

The thing is - you don't hear people complaining when their mail turns up do you? As for the lost EVO Mag, I strongly suggest you get on to their subs dept and complain because it could have gone missing anywhere in the system.
