Anyone got any idea when we'll see the T350 fighting it out on track? Will it be instead of or aswell as the Tuscan Challenge ?

It will be out on track with the Tuscans when its ready. My money would be on the second half or towards the end of the season before we see the first one.

That sounds like the sort of things that my mum would say Though might be worth adding when it's ready and teams can afford to buy them - whcih currently with money being rarer than rocking horse shat might be some time, unless TVR offer a nice little incentive scheme as they did with the Tuscan’s in their first season….

Even if they offer huge incentives, its difficult to see teams wanting to abandon the Tuscans at the moment. If you had spent £20k+ on your Tuscan, would you be at the front of the queue to pay money for a new T350? Particularly at a time when even some of the front runners have to find funding for a race at a time.

Unless the per race costs were brought down substantially by such a change, I can't see it happening in one big move. A gradual substitution perhaps, but not all in one go, and that assumes that the T350 is competitive with the Tuscans.

I still think TVR should re-skin the Tuscans as T350 silouhettes, then maybe think about putting the S6 engines in them. No major expenditure for the teams, but has the marketing effect for TVR. Lets face it, there is nothing wrong with the Tuscan racing - last nights TV coverage from Croft was excellent.

I could not agree with you more, I love the Tuscan's (enough to be gutted when our old girl was smashed up at Donnington last year ) they should stay around forever as a two fingered salute to anyone who hates cars.

Will all have to wait on TVR to see what will happen with the T350C. The Tuscan costs could be off set against the cost a new car i.e. complete new car for 10k in exchange for the Tuscan given back to the factory and an agreement that the team race 8 of the 12 rounds otherwise they have to pay full price, something along those lines. It has worked very well in the past
