Was sorry to hear the news at the TVR factory yesterday that Ned the Chimera designing dog had died a few weeks ago.

You cannot replace talent like that easily.

Thats what helps make TVRs special.

Now we know why they didn't christen the T350C - they were holding on for Ned's demise. Unfortunately the car got launched before everything was quite in order.

I remember Ned as a puppy chasing my cat onto the wardrobe and him taking ME for a walk.

He ate everything he could get into his mouth and had a go even if it wasnt edible.

Ned was a pointer bit like this - Sam was a brown version.

Ned was Peters gun dog who "designed" the front of the Chim (the gouge under the headlights) and was notorious for helping himself to the lads lunches.

Sam was Neds predecessor and he was an angel. Ned was a cheeky monkey but just as lovable as long as you kept him fed.

Having lost a dog before and knowing the way I felt then, condolences to Peter and all at the factory that new Ned. I didn't, just of his exploits. RIP Ned, thanks for the indicators "vent" on my car. If you'd have been bigger maybe you could have got the wipers to park too...

Obviously Ned the designing dog must have been out of sorts for some time, I meam look at the back end of the T350c. All jokes aside losing a pet dog is very upsetting, you have my sympathy.
