TVR's 'n Military Hardware.....
Discussion
....well, I've seen it in Sprint and there's at least one example in the classifieds, so why do people take photos of TVR's next to mobile SAM launchers or combat aircraft? and is this trend specific to the marque?!
Could be mine if it's a yellow cerbera you've seen. There's been a couple of picturess of it in Sprint and elsewhere, like at the bottom of this page www.indexcomputers.co.uk/Gallery/members/members.html - or go in the proper way www.tvrcc-scotland.co.uk -> gallery -> members cars
Nothing sinister in my case. A few of the Scottish lot took a run one Sunday to East Fortune air museum and took some pix of the cars and hardware on display.
I guess if we'd gone to the classic car museum that day we would have taken pix next to classic cars - but the descrption underneath might not have been so good

Not entirely specific to TVRs - this taken a couple of weeks ago in a pub car park nr Gravesend www.keefp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Elsie/pubcarpark.jpg
(And, no, I don't know why they keep old
etc in the car park...)Yup,
it was at RAF Leuchars [near St Andrews]. The car was, I think, supplied by Brandon - the Scottish TVR dealer of the time, or at least it carried Brandon's logo. Dunno if there's any pix on line, but Top Gear had a photo of it on their freebee calendar a year or two back.
There may have been other 'races' against tornados too. I don't know how 'real' the race was though.

How about a WAH-67 Longbow Apache ? ( the new British one ? )
I can definately get you a pic of my Chim next to one of those (Its actually a WAH-64D - or more correctly an AH Mk 1 as far as the British Army are concerned). I was thinking of getting one done to send into Sprint.
