Hi all,
what does anyone recommend for polishing the chrome exhaust bits? Also the metal 'pole' that forms the leading edge of the window on the door.

I've also noticed that the black background of the Chimaera badge on the boot is coming off - anyone repainted theirs?

Cheers,
Matt

I concur Solvo Autosol.
It will clean the exhaust and the door pole which BTW is ally. The door post was originally anodised this leaves a hard skin on it. You will need to rub hard (ooher) to get through this skin.
Be warned once you have broken this skin you will have to keep it polished or oiled otherwise it will corrode.

Happy polishing.

Have you got a pole-dancer for your 'pole' then - that would soon polish it - and polish all the knobs as well, no doubt.

Oh! BTW yes repainted the back and front badge with a celulose paint. "Splosh it on all over" and clean it off with a piece of sharpend perspex type plastic when dry.

Happy painting

Yep, that works for me and is not abrasive.
