Now before I start there's nothing wrong with the one I've got... but :-) well to be honest its all my girlfriends fault. she owns an MR2 and has a dinky steering wheel fitted thats a perfect size (IMHO) and I was wondering what the pro's and cons are for fitting one to a NON power assisted Griff? Has anybody done it? If so how much and who fitted it?

Cheers
Joe

I imagine it's going to make things heavier but only slightly reduce the amount of movement to achieve the same steering angles. The major plus is better clearance for your knees when heel n' toeing but I guess this depends on how much you intend to use this technique. Alternatively you could opt for a flat bottom wheel of the same diamater as standard and still achieve better leg clearence. As a matter of interest I was in Halfords today and noticed that the Momo Corse wheel has been reduced from £150+ to £99, I think this comes in both 350mm and 320mm.
Worth a look.

I'm not worried about a little more heaviness, its only an issue when reverse parking or 3 point turning.
