Found an alternator!

I recently moved desks at work and underneath in a box is an unclaimed exchange Land Rover alternator. Shiny and clean so I doubt it's ever been fitted, though I don't of course know if it actually works.

Now, it looks very much like the one I have in my Griff (which was only replaced a month ago under warranty), but can someone confirm it will fit a Griff and is worth holding on to?

Part number is AMR4248E, rated at 100A. Three fixings at the back marked B+, D+ and W. W has a spade connector next to it as well.
