I've seen a number of threads on this but can't find them now. Thought I'd just pass this on.

On the advice of D Batty, I tried BMW Convertible Rear Window Cleaner. It's the puppy's privates - better & easier than anything else I've tried. Almost made me want to buy a Z3. (Only kidding)

Ring first & if they don't have it they get in 24 hrs. It's £6-7 a tube but you only need the tiniest amaount.

Probably the wrong time of year for this as it'll folded down for the next 6 months!

Porsche stuff for the Boxster plastic rear screen also V. good..........passed on from a friend who downgraded to an M3

I got handed the BMW stuff last week by a mate of mine (he had a crate of quality car products left by the previous owner of his new flat) - excellent results! The tube says it's produced for the Z1 though - obviously been knocking around for a bit...
