Looking for some help please - Some muppet has dinged their car door onto the door of our Chimaera and left some paint as a calling card.

Thankfully there is no dent, but the paint is well and truly stuck on - any ideas on how to get the darn stuff off.

If its their paint on your car then it should polish off with a mild cutting polish.

I have read comments on here that T-Cut is too harsh on laquered paint but I use it and I reckon its very good at this sort of thing.

Obviously a good coat of your favourite polish and wax to finish though.

polish/paint renovator.. try AutoGlym's "paint renovator".. not too harsh as it goes, but should shift it.

Cheers
Matt.

had a similar thing recently on my Cerbera - swiped by a clown in a Clio on a wet M25 - left paint on front o/s corner of my car.

Got some ScratchX from Meguiars - brilliant, and no abrasiveness at all - order it online at www.meguiars.co.uk - and get yourself some of their Gold Class Wax while you're at it. Looks amazing over the top of Autoglym Resin Polish!!

cheers

best thing for glass fibre is GS27 from halfords/woolworths.... about 6 quid. Its very mild too, unlike alot of cutting products out there. Ive used it many times with great success. Mark
