Who's going along this Sunday with the Berks TVRCC chapter to the British Sports car festival at Brooklands?

I am going, wondered iof anyone else is going from the Fleet area?

Graham (The Berks RO) has said there will be photo opportunities on the banked track

Had problems getting my payment to Graham (how long does a new chequebook take??) but will be there.

thanks!
Mike

I've not signed up but could well be interested. Is it a pay on the gate or must I contact Graham? Rich...

I contacted Graham, as I am haviong trouble getting payment over to him, but I am waiting to hear if it is pay on the gate.

A pic of a load of TVR's on the banked corner would look smart

Karen here!. Steve and I will be attending this Sunday. Grahame has arranged parking for TVR's in a specific part of Brooklands and that's why he needed numbers and payment up front. As usual, the majority of Surrey TVRCC members are so busy working (me too!)that often it is impossible to arrange things so far ahead of time. Grahame very kindly offered us parking but we will be camped on the bank with the now infamous TVR monkey. Let's just hope that the weather is fine and that Rick doesn't ruin another set of perfectly good tyres on the hill climb!.

See you all on Sunday.

As it stands I paid for 2 tickets but since then I have become inexplicably single. So if anyone wants the spare, let me know.

Not only am I inexplicably single, I am also now Tivless. Does that mean I'm not allowed in? Or if I come in I have to park around the corner?

This is a public event, the pre-booking was so that we could all park together in a good location. Another club got the banking, we are in the paddock area. If you dont have a ticket you should be able to pay on the gate.
The Berkshire Region are meeting in Reading and Camberley, details on the website.

Hoping to be there as travelling back from a weekend away and might make a slight detour.

Havent taken the Cerb to a public event yet, so could manage to be there around lunchtime.

Have booked/paid in advance but assume that if we turn up just head of the paddock area.

What time are people aiming to get there. ?

So, if we pay on the gate, do we head for the Paddock area?

If there will be parked (and hidden a bit) in the little private courtyard opposite the MG dealer, near that newish 'sports' bar (ie it has a telly on). If you see us come over & say hi.

lots of bars, curry houses etc... that's what Fleet's for, right ?! We sometimes sneak our way into the Broadway Social club where beers dirt cheap. Mail off line if you'd like to try and bump into one another(am attempting to adhere to my own wish - keeping PH car fora car based on cars, and less of dross we're all suffering more & more these days )
