Ignition Timing NCK 4.0 V8

Does anyone know what the correct ignition timing is for the TVR 4.0 V8 NCK engine as used in the Chim and Griffith?

I have an NCK-modded 3948, I run 8 degrees BTDC and it seems fine. That's on standard unleaded, with a fast road cam.
