Just had my 4.0 Ltr Chim stolen in Oxford on Sunday night. Starmist Green, Black Hood, Alpine Stereo with front facia Removed, EBC front discs with indents i.e. not completely cross drilled, standard TVR discs on rear. Number Plate is S653 SLF. There is £1000.00 reward for a conviction against the thief. (Head bag in boot with Jack and spanners in, space saver spare floating around in boot not tied down. Car is identifiable underside by having a very slightly bent steering rack !)
The TVR manual / service history book was also in the car. The last service (24,000 ish) was done / filled in by Henley Heritage.

Firstly condolences to the owner it must feel like a kick in the stomach to have ones pride and joy nicked, lets hope that because these are comparatively rare and specialist cars it is soon found. I seem to remember another TVR nicked last year was pretty quickly found – lets hope the same happens! Has the owner contacted all the TVR dealers in his area oh and put an e-mail out on the TVRCC maillist and TVRCC club forum? Good luck Rich…
thats awful news. Was a bit worried that Pauls thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=42507&f=8&h=0 could relate to something amiss (the fact the stereo wasnt in it and roof off all night didnt sound quite right)
