Well, Richard Smith and the Peninsula crew have definatly outdone themselves this time. Just arrived back from Devon ( roof off all the way home ) with my new rollbar fitted.
Had to go via Bristol too, to pickup a kebab from what is probably the best kebab house in the country, and also have a blast around the city.

Its thicker than the standard ones, and has been colour coded Blue to match the car (Top quality paint Job too). Origional seatbelts have been removed due to the new location of the bar, however the 4 point harnesses now fit like a glove.
From what I understand, Colin and some of the guys were there at 06:30 this morning fitting and finishing the car off.

Will take pix and post them tomorrow

Dennis, did go up the M5, then into Bristol Via leigh Woods / Clifton.

My first roll bar ( Peninsula's prototype for the one nacad has fitted was ok, but I wanted a thicker tube.

the new one has 2"diameter tube instead of the 1" previously fitted.
Peninsula had 2 bars mnade when they designed mine, the other is for another Blue 400SE that is down at Collumpton.

I have tried the camcorder clamp and it attackes perfectly. I hope to get some flame shots though by gaffa taping a 3 meter piece of wood to the rear spoiler and attaching the camcorder to it whilst I go for a blast down a few roads at dusk.

Pics can be found here..
