I know the ABS thing has been done to death on here, and I don't want to start a debate on the merits etc. of ABS.

I am looking into a package of ABS to fit a Tamora, but applicable to other similar models, and I want to know who's prepared to consider it. Current price would be about £3500, BUT that would drop significantly (to about £2500) if a few people wanted it, rather than just one.

If you are seriously interested let me know - if you're shy/embarrassed, e-mail me!!

Certainly would, if it didnt have any negative effects on the handling. I thought ABS required a particular set up for the front wheels, if so it may be detrimental to the 'purity' of the handling i.e understeer. Any info on this?

No, s2art, can't pass any comment on that. Discussions are at a very early stage, but after some discussions last year, there wasn't felt to be any problem. The main problem appears to be fabricating mounts for the wheel sensors, and calibrating the CPU for the ABS, to siut the individual model of car. I've never heard that geometry setup has to be changed, though - brakes are brakes, aren't they?

Try speaking to Racelogic. They sell a traction control system which works off the ABS. They now do a system for TVR's so theoretically, they must also do an ABS conversion ?

Guys,

I'm also interested and had also spoken to RaceLogic last year, and whilst I'll be getting their TC system fitted this month they don't do ABS. Nor did they know anybody that did...

Ted, presumably this poll is open to non-brainwashed followers?

If so, perhaps it should read "Should TVR fit ABS?"

I would like ABS and TC on the cerbera as long as they were both switchable and did not add anytihng to the weight of the car!

Not asking for much then
