Still no Sprint ...

We joined TVRCC last month, last month's Sprint arrived 3 weeks ago, and the merchandise we'd ordered arrived on Saturday . However, this month's Sprint still hasn't popped through our mailbox

Could anyone please tell us if this is usual - maybe there's different dispatch dates for Sprint? Otherwise, we'll have to consider accosting our Postie & asking him if he's finished reading it yet

Same thing happened to me when I joined a couple of years ago.
Just give the office a ring and they will sort it for you.

There doesn’t seem to be a specific date each month when Sprint comes out, due to time pressures etc on Tony.... but we had ours a few days ago, so either your postie has it or its been lost, or you have just been missed off the list...who knows. If you ring them up I’m sure they will be able to tell you whats happened to it

I got my copy a few days ago. Third one since joining, so I don't think it's anything to do with new membership.

Many thanks for your replies, we gave the office a call, but, as suspected, they are all off in Le Mans until Tuesday (lucky things!)

Oh well, looks like the Postie's in for it tomorrow since there's nothing else we can do meantime

Well, our Postie refused to own up but a phone call to TVRCC today has confirmed that Royal Mail are the guilty party here - they've "lost" a whole load of them

TVRCC say they've had loads of phone calls today from people whose Sprint hasn't turned up yet - so, if there's anyone else still waiting, it would be an idea to give them a .

Although they didn't mention this, I'd hope that TVRCC will claim compensation - hopefully it might ensure that Royal Mail don't get so careless / greedy again!

On a positive note, mMine arrived end last week - and that's to the far reaches of Eastern Europe (Czech Republic). Too far for RM postie to get involved !!!, so all must have run smoothly.

BTW, where can I find all these nice moving emoticons or whatever they are called - is there a web page I can download them from ?

Mine arrived a few days ago but some of the pages are missing and some are in the wrong order,, some are duplicates, last months sprint was the same, has this happened to anyone else?

I renewed my membership a bit late last month and never received the Sprint with my new membership card.

I haven't received this months either

Mine was OK this month, but last month's never arrived and I had to contact Club Office for a copy. They can be late due to pressure of work on editorial staff/trips to Le Mans etc, but I've only had one AWOL in six years.

Sorry to hear you guys are having repeated problems receiving your Sprint. Other than it being late a couple of times, mine always arrives in tact to me here in the States.

Just to let you all know, as a Postie, we know what you get in the mail.

The cover for Sprint, is the same type as used by some well, private aid companies!!!

So this should explain why each month the Postie looks at you funny, going Oh yeh its a car mag mate, they all say that !!
