Sunninghill ??
Discussion
I got the following response from Sunninghill for a quote for my first TVR (Griff 4.0 valued £15,000 for 3,000/miles annum): "After a years or so experience with the TVR, we will be in a better posistion to offer terms and premiums". I'm 37 with 20 years NCB. Is this going to be a normal response. Heritage quoted £473 - Who else should I try ?
See this link www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=12&h=&t=11857 I used ClassicLine for my 350i, don't know if they're any good for the non-Wedge TVR's.

Might explain a few things going on.
Bottom line for me right now is Peart came out tops.
Good luck!

Strange this...
I got insurance fron Sunnighill, for my first TVR, a 4.3 Griff, with only limited experience of high performance cars ( not TVRs ) and they had no problem....and I'm only 32.
Maybe its your postal code, or parked on street, or car security...or something.
At the end of the day, insurance companies make it up as they go along.....maybe you caught them on a bad day :-)

One track day? I'm sure my policy with Sunninghill allows unlimited trackdays with prior notification. I'd better go and check the policy
