Not strictly TVR but someone here must have stayed near Blackpool! I have to visit Warton next week for work (just East of Blackpool) and need a good pub to stay in (real ale, etc.)- any recommendations, prefer Warton side if poss.... Of course I am gutted that I may have to combine this with a visit to the factory!!!

Try the Clifton Arms Hotel (01253 739898) in Lytham St.Annes, its a very good hotel and just round the corner from a pub called 'The Taps' which has at least eight real ales on at all times. It is very popular and always busy. When the Golf Open was on in Lytham they replaced the flagstone floor for turf to make the golfers feel at home!

Also they are both within five minutes of Warton, are you visiting BAE SYSTEMS?

Not sure of a good pub that also has accommodation, as I live very close to Warton and hence don't need to stay at a pub in the area!

However, if you're in the Blackpool area in the evening of Wednesday 25th June, the Blackpool region of the TVRCC have their meet at the Shovels Hotel, Common Edge Road, Blackpool. Great bunch of people (including me ).

Maybe see you and the Tiv there.

The Villa at Wrea Green, Birley Arms and Ribby Hall are all located near to Warton.

If you would like to e-mail me, I can provide my telephone number and give you some assistance. I live near by and work at Warton.
