Tuesday 24th June 2003, 6-10pm Bedford Town centre

Dear motoring friends

Please accept this invitation for your members to attend and display their cars within this 1st event of its kind in Bedford Town centre.
We are using Harpur Square, St Paul’s Square and the Riverside car park for the display, in conjunction with the Bedford Town centre Company.
It is a static display for both the owners to enjoy and of course the general public to attend and view the varied selection of cars from various clubs and individual entries.
There is no costs involved, hopefully a sponsored plaque will be issued to each car, a small donation to a local charity requested for the plaque but not essential.
If you are interested please reply with a approximate number of cars to help with the marking out of spaces.
We are hoping to display between 100-150 cars in total.
All safety aspects have been achieved and we look forward to a successful and enjoyable evening for all to enjoy.
We of course will try and keep all car types/clubs together but as you may imagine this can be difficult, please try and arrive together if you wish to remain as a group but marshals will try wherever possible to group car club entries together.
Picnic supper is recommended but many local restaurant and fast food outlets are available.

Was planning on going but have been posted to Plymouth next week

But as Alan said, Dennis (Northants RO) and a few others are going.

Don't forget there is the Shefford Bunch, Thai munch at the Red Lion Lodge, Deadman's Cross on the A600 just south of Bedford on Wednesday too! Meet up at the Esso Garage, Shefford By-Pass for 7.30, or turn up at the Red Lion.
Anyone wanting to eat, let me know so I can reserve tables.
