..the T440R that is. Will be going to Blackpool with Richard from HHC to put together the full spec. So need some ideas for colour schemes/wheels etc - I quite fancy a chameleon/reflex colour, but not a bright one. Quite like the muted Aston Martin colours as well. Red a definite no-no. Ideas and suggestions wanted!

Cheers

Black and yellow - De Walt style. That would be sooo cool.

Chamaeleon green or candyapple. (Dammit, chamaeleon is even harder to spell than Chimaera!)

Your current combo (on the Cerb) would be superb!! - what colour is that anyway??

keeping the black/ blue racing style paint job, you could see if you could persuade them to leave the rear diffuser plain carbon and whatever else takes your fancy. I know they wont want to do it, but remember the black tamora...

BCA - colour's Antique Turquoise Starmist (green/blue in differing lights). Must admit have thought of doing this, but instead of magnolia interior - black/blue. I'm hoping the factory will b fairly open to suggestions with regard to customising car - will see anyway!

Hi Alan - good colour! Would like to see this in the flesh though, along with Reflex Spice and Azure Fire Prizm (looks wild on the cards). A bronze/copper flip with an oatmeal/cream interior is a possibility?

Have to say when I spec'd the car I did nearly change my mind 3 times but the factory, Ian and Michael Caine at Castle convinced me to stick with it....and wow what a car! It looks much better in the flesh so to speak....turns heads/stops traffic everywhere I go.

Even had the workers at the factory all taking turns to view it

Alan.

So, Dan, will you and your new beast ever make it to one of our gatherings? Should look impressive, what with your 440 and Clive (Snakes) 350C. Oh, there'll be some of those funny old Wedge things there as well...

I think a T440R would look better in a standard pearlesant paint - maybe a slighter darker one as you said. How about BRG, black wheels, black and dark green interior ? Or maybe that very dark green that most of the time looks black ?

Will definitely meet up some time , work commitments have prevented me making it to the weekday meets unfortunately - however car won't be arriving til next summer and I have to spec it now in order to stand a chance of getting it for then.

Looking forward to seeing if these 'wedges' are as loud as everyone says they are

Sounds good too, problem is I've got so many different schemes going through my head I know I'm going to have trouble deciding on a final spec

Didn't expect to have to spec the thing a year in advance to virtually guarantee delivery though.

How about desert moondust, with creamy pale interior, and rusty coloured carpets. You will know how claustrophobic Cerbie interiors can be, so light coloured leather would look very nice.

Having seen some of the Wedges around, you'd have no trouble whatsoever if you fancied brown cord carpets... They must have had a job lot in 1980 that was still on the go 10 years later...

Some Wedges are loud, you get the occasional sewing machine (like Steve's, which funnily enough is painted that green that most of the time looks black...)

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you have to put down now to spec. it for next year delivery ?

Just curious you understand

Actually put down a £1000 deposit at the Motorshow last year. I was told I could have jumped the queue and have it by the end of 2003 if I were to put the full 10% down, but didn't fancy driving it through winter

However since they still haven't built the first customer car the deadlines have been altered somewhat. So now in order to guarantee delivery for next summer I need to put in the spec now (and possibly pay the full deposit!)

The Chromaflare Titanium is an unbelievably wicked colour.....with matched wheels its pure class.

Interior....black/grey swade.

Seats should be replaced with some Zertec jobbies.

IMHO of course.

h

PS Oh by the way, if anyones got some Cerby or Tuscan/350 seats , im on the look out for some, ususl e-mail etc..cash waiting ,blah, blah

Do you have to choose off a list of TVR colours or will they spray it any colour??

If the latter is true go for a Standox "Exclusive line" colour.

www.standox.co.uk

my faves are:

Monte Carlo Magic

or

Avus Galaxy
