Exporting a car to China

Hi all,
I've been reading this website for a while now, and i'm very impressed with the discusions and the topics, but i can't seem to find any information about exporting, so here goes my first post(so go easy on me).
I wish to transport my car to China from the UK and i need some advice on how to do such a thing, it's just under a year old, and it's a TVR. The reason i want to do this is because i have been offered a career in China, and i start soon. So rather than sell up, i would love to keep it, and drive around over there. Is anybody in China(or suroundind countries) at the moment done the same thing?
Any advise, i know nothing so you'll have to start from the beginning!
