Nice to know someone wasn't looking straight past the SEAC to Nick Mason's F40.......
Actually, it was quite amusing to sit and watch the crowds.
People were drawn to the F40 like moths to a flame, but would eventually notice something unusual out of the corner of their eye, say something like "What The F
" and walk straight over to the SEAC details board.

" and walk straight over to the SEAC details board.Just how dirty is the car now though, Nacnud? The dust was horrendous and some philistine bastard had written "Clean Me" with their finger in the dust on the bonnet of the F40.

Your 450SEAC was roof down, so it must be in serious need on a valet now, I would imagine.
How did you cope with the stress of numpties brushing up against the car with all manner of scratchy objects like handbags with zips, etc? I think I would have been having kittens - you must be braver (or more wealthy!) than me.

That photo looks like Saturday as there is still a hint of colour in the grass! I got them to clean the F40 first thing on Sunday as it was a disgrace.
I wasn't too worried about kids with zips, etc; they were all at/on the F40. Full play to Nick Mason for allowing his F40 to be displayed, though I would have thought a minder would have been a good idea.
That was a fantastic collection of cars and it was a real privilege to be in the same line-up. The Cricket Pitch organiser kept referring to the SEAC as "Scrambled Egg And Chips", a term I've not heard used before; but with the weather "frying pan" would have been a more appropriate name for the spoiler than the usual "tea tray".
As for the dust inside my car - Hmmm....
I got a lot of it off the seats using a dry sponge but the creases in the leather, the carpets, and all sorts of nooks and crannies must still have a lot of dust in them.
I must remember not to wear white in the SEAC for a while.....

I think a full professional valet might be in order. Pity the organisers couldn't stump up for that really.

And a big thank-you to TVRCC East Sussex for making me welcome and chauferring me around. Especially Laurence and Angela for use of their nice soft lawn/carpet, wonderful food and very enjoyable evenings with a beer or three 
The TVRCC stand was superb and the amount of effort you all put in to preparing and manning the stand really sets a high standard for other events.

Dunc try a 'waxed' brush, can get thm from frost.co.uk
Very good at collecing the dust etc.
