Hello all,

Does anyone know how I can get hold of Jens Ratsey, the bloke who looked after the TVR register?

I've been to his web site, www.ratsey.com and it doesn't have any contact details.

Has anyone got his e-mail address?

Cheers

Hello all,

I have contacted Jens Ratsey-Woodroffe about resurrecting the TVR Register.

If he can find the original database and if there is enough interest in setting up the register again, it will be reborn! He has said I am welcome to the original files.

What do you think? Would you welcome back the register? I always thought it was an interesting source of information for the TVR Community

Well that just pissed on my bonfire!

Seriously, I'm glad you mentioned that, Ted. I completely forgot about the Members Car section, even though I recently added my own car!

I'll move onto the next idea.........

What about the *current* TVRCC model registrar, Mervyn Larner?

I think Rich was referring to the desire to have an online source of info.

Incidentally - how is Jens? I used to know him through a work colleague, used to have mutual TVR revving-up sessions in the office car park occasionally, then he sodded off to America? Rich...

Anyway of making the type of model of car more consistent? I realise that this depends on how people enter the data but we have 33 types of Chimaera - some of them even spelt correctly!!!!

Richb,

Jens didn't elaborate on his situation in America but he did say that he still has his 400 SE in the UK.

I've had a bit of clean up. I'll work on a better solution in the long run.

And one post in 17 years, must be a record low.
