Apologies if this has been done before/ elsewhere but, following on from the 'What stuff would you hate to see in the new TVR' thread, what do you consider to be the uniquely essential stuff to be in the new TVR? What makes a TVR uniquely a TVR?

Also, to me its always been the underdog, in a world of giant manufacturers.

The small low-volume specialist company offering an alternative to the boring.

Useable (ie has a boot, not a toy)
light (relatively)
high power to weight!
Uncomplicated/ but well designed engineered for purpose.
Don't care about the noise.

DNA,,, a normal person needs to have a look of disbelief and deep dark fear after driving one.

You should be made to do an advanced driving course before purchase hehe

Good points, but I'd also add noise to that list yes

On a serious note, for me it's stunning looks, noise, and serious performance, for a lot less money than the established order. With a superb community to go with it. That for me is what a TVR is all about.
