Just posted this on the South Coast forum - but repeating myself on here never hurts biggrin

Oh wise ones......

I need a shop that has expertise in fibre-glass repairs, and can deal with Reflex (charcoal) paint.

I've got some damage at the front of the TVR, and although I'm going through the insurance company, I'd rather have just the front end resprayed. However, that would depend on (a) the paint colour being perfectly matched, and (b) confidence that the finish can be matched.

TIA

Lee,

Two places IMHO that can offer first class spray and GRP repair facilities.

1) Ross Packard in New Milton....one of the trading estates. I work for a Ferrari/Maserati dealership, and most of their work goes to these people.

2) Classic Restore - run by Graham Pearce. Located on the trading estate on the Eastern side of Eastleigh (station). I have had work done by Graham and its been superb.

Thanks; it is looking like I may need to go to a TVR specialist - so travel further afield.....

Lee, the two paint-shops I've mentioned are definitely Premier League.

I had a new rear spoiler and some crazing around the O/S rear lights on my Tuscan S repaired by Classic Restore and it is absolutely flawless. My paint is Red Glow Pearl which is a tricky colour to blend I believe.

Ross Packard have an equally good reputation - Ferrari/Maserati have a "graphite" metallic which I would imagine, is a hard colour to blend?
