Afternoon All,

I'm off to Cheltenham this weekend and wonder if there's some good circular routes nearby as may take the Tuscan.

I've read a lot about the "Romantic Road" but cannot find a good enough map online to follow.

Cheers M

Depends how far you want to drive and what type of roads you want to drive on. There are many excellent driving roads here in the Cotswolds.

You could try north from Cheltenham towards Broadway, right at Toddington roundabout (Pheasant Pub) to Stow on the Wold (road used by many motoring hacks for testing new cars), north to Moreton in Marsh, west to Evesham, then just south of Evesham, right to Hinton and follow road around Bredon Hill to Tewkesbury, south thru Apperley back to Cheltenham.

Or ......

Yep, good run, but the road from Ford to Stow really exaggerates Tuscan bump steer.

The 'back road' from Cirencester to Cheltenham was always fun when I was driving a hire car.

Many years since I've driven it though so it could be festooned with speed cameras now.

No speed cameras but plenty of people bumbling along. The first suggestion was pretty good, that road is not too busy.

Op Fish Hill outside Broadway can be very entertaining to drive up wink

Careful along Fish Hill OP as after the wind and weather this week, the carriagewaynis strewn with debris as I found out on a spirited drive up there yesterday.

Makes for some focussed moments...

Enjoy sir
