Man I love my car on days like this
Discussion
This week has been an absolute joy driving the Tiv (despite a misfire from low revs on heavy throttle) - commuting and just driving for the hell of it. 5 days on the trot of sunshine, roof off, warm tyres, dry & warm tarmac, quick warm up and S6 howling away. Even able to put up with the baking heat from up front.

This why why we love 'em and forgive them their foibles
Hope everyone else has been enjoying theirs

Amen to that, mine lives, for the most part, for this/last week every year.
..bit of a pootle across the channel and 900+ miles of D-roads and back and then took it to work yesterday for the 200 mile return commute (all motorway unfortunately, but I didn't care
Now it's back to the motorcycle for me, but that's all good too

Hi Speed 3, just for information, my Tuscan had a misfire just as you have described. It turned out to be the coil pack breaking down under the heavy throttle load.

I know what it probably is, happened before, just can't be arsed taking it off the road at this time of year.....It's the spark plug cover allowing damp in (car lives outside). The sealant can only be so effective on an imperfect mating surface and with all the heat it eventually breaks down somewhere. At some point I'll get around to renewing it and the HT leads but next job is a clutch methinks, 58k on it and it's just starting to be a bit reluctant, hopefully it will make it to the end of summer.Edited by Speed 3 on Thursday 22 June 21:36
