Tbf not a lot to go on there. Do you have visibility of the vin plate and paint code number on it, likewise the original handbook where the paint code will be written.
Failing that some better pictures might help...

In the absence of all of that, I'll guess Midnight Blue Pearl.....

You could try emailing D14 ays, through their profile, there are posts linked from a google image search where they say it was their old car. But I think it's sapphire blue, with paint details in this post ... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=13...

There is a current thread in the Chimaera section called "Just for Alun". If that is the colour you want, we can get you the code.

Hi J,

I had an early 4.3 Griff in a Colour called Starfire Mica Blue, which looked very similar to your attached photo. Great colour, but that was my personal choice.

Haha I think everyone has posted a different colour! This isn't going to be easy. Sapphire black looks interesting though! Does it only look blue in the sun and black in the shade?

It's definitely not yellow, so you can rule out that colour. biggrin

Deans old Griff (J940LOW from memory) was in with Powers Performance earlier this week so may still be there. You could ask him.

I thought there was a hint of blue in the photo you posted and with that, I think its Bentley Sapphire Blue.
It looks almost black in the shade and the blue only shows itself in strong sunlight.
This is my Tuscan before I had it resprayed.
The Sapphire Blue showed up all of those swirly little spider scratches. Drove me crazy.

Let me know if you want the code for this colour.
