Isn’t the new Supra a pre-production prototype? Unsure whether it will make it to production in that guise.

That is the sort of look I was hoping for with the new TVR, I'm not even putting on a flame proof suit or getting my coat. I was very underwhelmed at pictures of the new one and speaking of rear ends, it looks to me as if one guy was doing the front and another the rear and they didn't speak.

I really hope the new Supra does look like this. It has the aggression and flow that the new TVR lacks IMHO.

New Supra fan website is here.
Other than the same number of doors as the FT1, it's not even close, if the spy shots are anything to go from.

Sadly that is exactly what i thought at the reveal. Not seen it in the flesh but it looks as though constructive criticism made by many depositors were not taken onboard as it still looks the same...as a result the same criticism is being leveled at the finished car. frown

The renderings on that site do indicate it may be different from the pre-production car shown. Who knows?
but
Toyota Supra sales 200,000?
TVR sales 500? scratchchin

Hi Christian, I am sure you will recognise this rear end. I have just bought the car from Daniel Yeates and can’t stop grinning. I used to own a road going Tuscan Challenge car in the same colour which have regretted selling many times. Your old car is just like the Challenge car but much more refined and quite a bit more powerful. I absolutely love the car and it ticks every box on my list. I have owned it for 4 days now and can’t wait for tomorrow to drive it again. I must thank you for creating this wonderful machine and I feel so lucky to be the current owner and can’t imagine ever wanting to part with it.

Regards

Roger

How could i not recognise that arse, so pleased its in the hands of an enthusiast who is enjoying the car as i think a couple have found it a bit of a handful lol. I put allot of love and money into developing the car and was gutted to let her go but circumstances dictated something had to go! If i can give you any info on the two rebuilds or any of the mods pm me and ill send you my number! not sure what tyres its sitting on now but my only advice to anyone driving it was respect the torque and warm the tyres before your got silly with the happy peddle! The car is a giant killer of the lights and even though the Sag is no slouch with a 4.3 and the Challenge car runs a 4.7 ajp race lump both feel tame in comparison to the huge unrelenting drive of that 6.3 V8. Happy motoring driving
