Thanks, tried the sidelights, no joy, interior light, no joy, am wondering about the earth,
When I say it's live im no electrician, but it registers live on the AC current finder I use to check walks before I drill them!, As does the interior light, number plate light etc...
If you fitted one where would you put it?

You could fit and wire a tilt switch in the boot lid, mercury free with a 1 amp rating is good enough for a 5 watt bulb
