Does anybody here know who owns the TVR with the registration A6 RNT?

I don't know what model of TVR it is.

Do you know who owns it though?

I'm interested to find out if the owner would be interested in selling the registration...

This may have changed due to data protection (or any other reason), but it used to be the case that if you wrote a nice letter to the boys and girls in Swansea explaining the legitimate reason you wanted to contact the owner (i.e. not to put hate mail in his (hers) letterbox because they had carved you up, for the mere consideration of around £2.50 the DVLA would sell you the details of the registered keeper.

I think that's still the case but I thought it would be worth a try here first as it may be quicker than contacting the DVLA.

It has changed, not possible now to ask for owners details.

...unless you are a parking enforcer or making an insurance claim, I believe.
If I were desperate, I would approach the place it was last MoTed in the hope that they were a regular, and ask them if they would forward a note of interest on your behalf. Don't know if the latest GDPR nonsense would prevent this, but it wouldn't bother me.

Hi,
the number used to be on this car when the name of the former owner was Grant and the number stood with the car,
but went lost when exporting the car in 2012:

The changes to the V5c last year are annoying. It no longer carries the name and address of the previous owner and the information about how long they had it.

Data protection it now states in Section 2. Or is it to make money out of prospective owners having to pay to find out what used to be printed clearly on the front? frown

That's a shame. It's doubtful then that this plate will ever become available again unless the DVLA changes its current rules.

Probably dumb question, but I'll ask anyway.

What does it mean?

Aren't?
Arrogant?
A Runt?
Agent?
Maybe your initials are RNT?

I'll look out for the Norwegian Blue.

You're not far off with one of your guesses but I'm not telling you which one...

What is the Norwegian Blue?

Pay a private investigator. Friend did it to get a number plate that spelt his wife’s name to go on her RR L405 Christmas present.
