The Ecus are essentially the same its the chip inside that is different for the various models, so in theory you could find a bog standard Range Rover 14 cux Ecu and change the chip. It may not be that simple though as some early Ecus had a soldered chip rather than a plug in one.
You could try here, he has advertised some spares before on facebook marketplace.

Are they 100% sure the Ecu has failed as that could prove to be an expensive diagnosis, sometimes it would benefit you to get the car to the place above and let them deal with it as they carry all the spares.

Top lurking.
Most splendid.
Easiest way to test the ecu is to swap it with a working one or put yours in a working car.
TVR specialist garages usually have a few of both lying around.
Loom or plug is quite likely to be the cause if the ecu isn't.
What symptoms are you getting with the car?

Car is in auto electrician's, they advised the ecu was kaput, they tracked down someone who said they would clone the original one and now they can't get it to start
All a bit vague. What originally happened?
Not starting / running rough / running fine on the M3 at 78 then lost power and had to cruise to a stop in the hard shoulder (been there done that) / over or under fuelling etc. etc. etc.
