Griffith roof stowage:
Standing behind the car, roof in the bag.
1) Roof, inside facing you. Front closest to floor.
2) Place front lower corner in boot first.
3) Manipulate angle to allow rear left corner in and font right corner follows.
It should then drop in.
I can get mine in easily like this even with the spare in place.
This video shows it well:

My roof fits in my Griff as in the video.
I also have a folding roof which I usually carry whilst leaving the fixed roof in the garage. This means it's easier to get out when carrying luggage and frees up more space although it takes a little longer to unfold and fit. My folding roof is pretty watertight but if leaving out somewhere (e.g. LM) I put the leven cover over it. If the solid roof was in place I wouldn't need the leven cover.
The fixed roof also has a slightly better profile than the folding one.

Thanks for the responses. I suspected they were the same.
I can say though, putting the Griffith hard top in the boot is a lot easier than I was expecting, after reading all the horror stories about how it was almost impossible. Get the orientation correct and with a little careful positioning, it slips in. To be honest, the bigger problem is putting the hard top in its bag.
Here's an extension to the original question though:-
Does the Tamora use the same roof?
I believe it's the same fitting etc, but is it the same panel? In this case, I suspect not, but I could be wrong.
