The red one was up for sale in 2023? That was a nice colour

Was this the one that was crashed by a photographer and then repaired?

I believe this to be the case - owned by a lady whose husband had an orange Sagaris at the same time - this will be going back nearly 20 years.

Barry at TVR Ecosse has worked on this car before too.

Theres less than zero chance of a T440 getting to 215mph with just 440 bhp. Id be surprised if it could reach 190.

To do so youd need to ignore the wiper lift and bonnet rise on most of the TVR's I had if I went over 120mph....

IIRC the Tuscan S press car did 180+ when Evo tried with a few cars to crack 200.

So it's probably about 190 tops with an extra 40hp.... absolutely nowhere near 215mph - that requires at least 750-800bhp minimum.

Their line on blowing the reliability myth as it had managed to do 500 miles without an issue made me smile.

So the TVR numbers come from the rolling road, no drag and the usual TVR slight exaggeration.

Bonnet rise and stability is hugely affected if you don't have the little chin spoiler. I had no problem at Bruntingthorpe with speed... wink

Blurry phone pic

When I got my Cerbera someone had just let theirs run on the autobahn and had 203 indicated... There was a post on here around 2005/2006

I think Jason at Str8Six has done some on it at some point as well, but then he has his T400r racer(s)

Yes I might just do that - it's a Sport 160 so quite rare (317) - not long back from a 1500 mile trip to Le Mans Classic in it smile

Happy to let you have a nose at the old Alfa if I'm down Carnoustie way in that too wink
