Why do people pay more for a Sagaris than a Tuscan?
Discussion
Scooting through the classifieds there's 2005 Sagarii (?) @ £45K < £58K, yet the same year Tuscans seem to be going for somewhere around the £30k mark....
Looking at http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk it seems that there are 134 Sags on the road with 21 SORNed, against 993 & 73 Tuscans.
So is it just comparative rarity?
Still prefer the Tuscan myself.............

A diamond is a compressed heated chunk of carbon costing sometimes large sums of money. Diamond houses keep the number of diamonds artificially low to keep the prices high. Anything that is wanted and short on numbers will always demand a price.
Joe Carbuyer sees a Tuscan as a Tuscan and not a rare sub species of genus Tuscan. Sags are sags are sags and that's it. Now I would love a sag but honestly I've not been impressed with the quality of cars hitting 50k and I've said this to a dealer. 50k buys you some serious metal in the second hand market.

Totally agree with your wisdom there, Pauline.
Everyone is entitled to one or two big screwups in their lives - even if they are Older and Wiser.
Wisdom does comes with age as they say.
...and great wisdom with great age...
...and time to run...

It possibly also comes down to Sag's being produced later. Tusc's are seen as a 1999 designed car where as the Sag is the pinnacle of TVR's evolution in 2005. I know what you mean though, underneath there isn't much in it, but IMHO the Sag does look externally like something out of a science fiction film! Both are awesome cars that will turn heads evertime so it's what ever floats you boat (and what you can afford!).
