I have a type B Corsa power steering rack on my race car that started intermittent working then just plain stopped working altogether. I fitted a spare motor and all is ok,so defiantly not the thermal cut out in the ECU.I want to check see if the brushes are ok,I can't see a way to get the end cap off to release the comutator from the front housing, anyone had one of these apart and can help before I throw it across the workshop into the large pile of other stuff that has defeated me at the first hurdle biggrin
The first pic shows the front plate in the housing I want to release so I can get the brushes out............

I have been thinking about / plucking up the courage to post up on the Corsa forum,s and swivel round my flat cap.I even got the GF to get me some spot cream (just in case)The thought of having to read all that drivel has I'm afraid made me come to the decision to just throw it in the pile of scrap and buy a new one. Does any one know out of all the numbers on the case (in the pic) which one will be the part number. yours defeated cry
