Hi guys, I don't normally post or comment but hope you will read on and try and help. A close friend and colleague Emma, is going through the mill at the moment and a few of us have got together to try and raise money through doing the Cancer Research Dryathlon in her name to show support. The Dryathlon for those who don't know is a sponsored not drink for the month of January. The following is her story as on her team page, Emma's Temporary Tee Totallers.

We are all doing this for our great friend / family member Emma. Three months ago she was diagnosed with the "Big C". Even more heartbreaking is that she was pregnant at the time. Her treatment brought on early labour, and beautiful Erin came into the world 15 weeks early weighing a teeny 1lb 10oz. The good news is that she is now doing really well and is 3lb 15oz. We all hope she will be home soon with her mummy and daddy. We hope by raising money for Cancer Research that this will hopefully allow Emma time with her little girl.

The link with this forum is that she absolutely loves our cars and has been out in my Cerb many times and used it for her niece to get her to her wedding. The good news is that her team is leading the Cancer research Dryathlon leader board in the country which is fantastic and is giving Emma something to focus on. It would be lovely if people could help by donating anything they can to my page

or if you click on Emmas Photo on my page it will take you to the team page where you could donate to anyone of us. If you can donate, put a note on that you are TVR owners, she will appreciate it.
Thanks Alun.

Good luck with your fund raising Alun, and of course to Emma but I suspect this post will be deleted soon by the mods. Mine was when I tried to sell a TVR related item to raise funds for the Hospice that had cared for a friend who died from cancer.

Check "the rules" but charity fund raising isn't allowed. frown
