is there more to find on the web about that cerbera transplant? or only in the sprint magazine...
did they use the normal TVR exhaust? how did it sound
normally those engines sound great me thinks.
It would be a bit more expensive I guess, but then you have something nice/different.
also saw some very nice headers which did not need much room with some V8 conversion, but can't find the picture back on my PC, I have to many car/TVr pictures...grr

How does the supercharged version compare size wise? I presume it's taller but no wider? Would it still fit? There's factory versions of this engine that go up to 620hp in the SLR.
Would it fit in a t-chassis car?
How does the JLR 4.2 v8 supercharged compare size wise? These are a fair bit cheaper than the AMG units.

The later AMG units which I think account for the biturbos are DOHC so wider at the top. Jag units have a similar issue that the DOHC set up does make them wide. Would it fit in a t-chassis car?

I think the key to the earlier AMG 5.5 is that it is sOHC.

The supercharged version is the same SOHC 3valve per cylinder engine so I suppose it would fit.I think the key to the earlier AMG 5.5 is that it is sOHC.

Looking at pictures it seems incredibly compact and if the NA would fit I think the Kompressor would also. However the Mercs run with twin charge coolers so there could be issues with space for them.
I think you'd also have to junk the whole drivetrain and beef it up considerably and that's a lot of money to just go flying off into the trees at the first corner.

However the N/A, SOHC version does sound appealing - especially as they're in a generation of cars that's in all probability - at least in the UK market being rendered uneconomical to repair when any serious electronic or body rust issue crops up.
