Loving the black surround, been thinking about it for ours, and speakers in the doors. Is that Daves work? Have you seen the Tuscan with the herz speakers on his web site that looks very nice too. Would love to see yours once it's done, will you be going to any meets this year?

How have you constructed that? Layers of MDF with a glass fibre coating or filler? Very nice! I bought a set of 6" speakers to fit into the door cards, but haven't got round to it yet!

The door inserts were done in fibre glass by the Plasticman. They hold a 4" speaker .... Not sure a 6" would work.
Really pleased with the black surround, hoping to have the car at Burghley.

Some very interesting mods going on there Darren, should make it stand out on the inside as well as the outside. thumbup

I'm not going to kid myself, at the end of the day it's a Tuscan but I wanted to deviate from the obvious Tuscan traits such as the door panels, shelf and the Ali clock surround.
I think that the finished project will just update the interior a little.
