Hello guys and gals!

Long time reader who finally plucked up the courage to sign up. Been a huge TVR fan for many, many years. My dad bought a 4.5 Cerbera which only strengthened my love for the brand. So jealous of all you Tiv owners out there although now I am finally old enough (and maybe rich enough) I have started my own search for one haha.

Anyway, this was just a quick hello to everyone. Looking forward to many years of posts smile

Thank you Nick

Hmmmmmm I don't know whether to go for the Cerb or to get a Tuscan. One of my friends has a Chimaera 400 though. Might be better off starting on that or a S type.

I was the same as you and after a few years lurking on this site, I picked up a 4.2 Cerb on Saturday. It's awesome!

Happy hunting!

Hi supercactus. Get the car you want - the best example you can afford.

If you don't and go for the compromise/lesser option, when you see the car you want you'll think "wish I'd got one of them" - and that thought won't go away til you get it.

But when you get it - just go steady in it til you know what's what.

I did this six years ago and the love's still there. Good luck in the search.

I understand your comment however, I really wanted to have a 4.5 Cerb and there were some affordable ones about but required work, then we saw a little run down Chim 400, went to view it, and have never looked back, I do stil look at Cerbs with admiration and want so I know what you mean, but I am in love and I have never regretted buying it over a 4.5 cerb.
So please try all the cars in your budget, good luck and have fun testing all these TVR's, you never know a Chim or Griff may be the car for you. (or even a wedge)
