Neil Garner's Open Day 2014

To all those that are interested.....
I have started to see comments and questions about the successful annual Neil Garner Open Day...
On hearing the national TVR Chatsworth Event had been moved to Burleigh and their date was moved to within a week of what has proved to be a successful event here in the South Cotswolds, we (the committee) originally decided to bin the event last November.
We felt it only right to inform our regular traders first about cancelling the event, we had a full response from all traders contacted, that they wished for us to continue what is becoming a very popular event. With their help, they helped us last year to raise a cheque of over two thousand pounds to a great cause, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
We are now looking at all dates possible, and are looking towards the end of the summer / early autumn as we do not wish to clash with such events as the S and Chimfest, Griff Growl, the main TVR event in Blackpool and of course Neil Garner's involvement with motor racing. We also have to take into account the venue, as it is a small industrial park and we are now informed that some companies not only work on Saturday but Sunday too. This could cause a logistical problem. Ie parking. Something we didn't have a problem with over our regular Easter date when having near 300 cars turn up to the event.
So apologies for not communicating with you all before hand, but before we post all the info we need to be fully sure the venue and of course the date is all fully workable.
We are sorry we could not hold the event over our usual Easter period, but with a regular attendance of 600 cars to a prime event it was something we could not compete against within such a short space of time - a week!
