I thought that some of you might like to see this video I found whilst digitising old footage from Sony 8mm.

It's the very first test day of the TVR Speed Twelve at Snetterton back in 1998. Driver is John Kent, team manager is John Swinscoe.

Cars really never got more badass.

Brutal looking thing, very handsome and purposeful. Never did like the way the Cerbera Speed 12 looked.

Yes fantastic looking car. Front end looks like it wants to eat the road up, and the smoothness of the back end, amazing video l really enjoyed it. Makes me feel more gutted that it was not given the praise it deserved as it was a supercar of its time , when it was only Mc claren that had anything of that power in production and sellable to the public frown

Great stuff Roop thanks.
Can someone confirm if this car
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLucYh2O4wY
is the same one but with a different front end ?
Personally, prefer the original.
YT seems full of clips of the Cerbera Speed 12 which is called the TVR Speed 12 but
so clearly a different animal altogether. Anyone got the figures on these variants ?
Only begs the question - where is she now ?

Enjoyed that - those were the days! Looks great in white and the shape as well; maybe we will see a reincarnation of it on the track again sometime? (The one from Track V Road I mean - what is happening to it any idea?)

The question about where is it now has been answered but yes that is the same car, the front was altered to aid cooling I think. There was only ever one running original Speed 12 the other car was a motorshow mock-up.
