Hello all,

Bit of a childish topic, but has anyone managed to set off any car alarms with their tvr?
For me it's the ultimate show off.

If so I'm wondering
Is there is any special technique.
What exhaust set up are you running?

Doing a 3 point turn ant an evans halshaw dealer, set off the alarm of a Mitsubishi lancer evo.

Exhausts pointed straight at the car, and just slightly revving to get away.

Yup, my record is 9 in one go when entering a multi-story car park. The attendant walked up to my car and I was expecting a bking but he ended up congratulating me and telling me my score!! Good sport :-)

On the way to Str8Six - Watlington High Street... 2nd gear at the bottom and boot it all the way up! Almost every car parked there sounded it's alarm....

De-catted 4.3L Tuscan.

My son did manage to set off several in the underground car park at his office - with his Tuscan.
I managed to set off three police car alarms at Portishead Police HQ - but that was with my Triumph Bonneville...... The bike cops thought that was hilarious

Very childish but also lots of fun LOL! Sometimes at traffic lights I would be sat next to a parked car and the alarm would set off!!! It would set off the neighbours alarm without fail if I parked the car with the exhaust pointing towards their house! lol

just starting mine up usually works, though a prod of the loud pedal ensures a "proper job"

not as bad as one of my cobra replicas...started that up on a ferry crossing once (same effect as a tunnel) , score about 30 euroboxes...
