I went down to take a look at the work these guys do: http://www.peelsmotorkraft.co.uk
Very good and some great colours.

Classic restore did a cracking job on my arena red metallic Chimaera
http://www.classicrestore.co.uk/ . They have a lot of experience in bodywork repairs and spraying GRP bodied cars.
They are based in Eastleigh, Hampshire so possibly a bit nearer to home for you?

I can recommend Autotech Prestige (formerly Salford Service Centre) near Milton Keynes as I've personally had work done by them very recently. TVR specialists who know there stuff. I was in there very recently & they had a Cerbera off the chassis having a complete restoration. Rick Collinson (ex Powers Bodyshop) is the Bodyshop manager & head painter. They do all sorts of custom & standard TVR paint jobs. By the way, they are apparently doing the Cerbera they have in a secret colour & won't tell anyone what it is until it's done. If anyone finds out let me know ?!!!!

Thinking of treating the Griff to a new coat. Can anybody give an indication of an approximate cost of a full respray. Just ballpark (no need to put company names) Cheers
I was quoted circa £2.5k for full body prep and repsray.... non-metallic, last summer by a place in Stevenage whom are used to dealing with TVR/Lotus,,,,,also a mate of mine works for Chiltern Aston Centre body shop, and they won't touch my Griff as it's a pain to work on to get a good finish, so there must a black art to painting these cars
You'll hear tales of woe, even when the big named boys have done the works, probably more as expectation is high, as are their prices.
Personally I'd find someone local, check out what they have done and have a good look..... don't just look at freshly painted, look at stuff a few years old to see how the paint has faired... look for blistering, which may develop over time..... find out how they have treated customers in the past when things have gone wrong, customer care is all part of the service after all, and don't drop it off expecting it back in a week either
