Emotion CR wheels
Discussion
Having seen a couple of T cars with these wheels I was wandering if anyone knew of a supplier now that ACT have stopped selling them? I spoke with Tim earlier today and he stopped as the price just got too high but they really do suit the car, especially in the darker colours.
Anyone know what sizes and offsets would also be required?

Hi Tony
Can't remember what the specs were, will try to find them. Have a look at the Rota Torque Drift wheels, basically a lightweight copy of the CR Emotions, I had them on the Sag and was very pleased with the finish etc and they were a lot cheaper than the Works ones.

Hi Tony
The Rota Torques that I had on the Sag were
Front 18 x 8.5 ET35 with 255/35 tyres
Rear 18 x 9.5 ET35 with 265/35 tyres
No problems with rubbing or the like but I have read of people having a problem as the fibreglass on the wheel arches does vary somewhat. I am sure Dave Hillis could soon sort that out though as it is only the inner of the wheel arch if it is a problem.
Steve
Thanks for the compliment on the Vantage although it has now gone and I have truly moved to the dark side now, must update the profile sometime.

You enjoying the Cayman?
As I put up on a thread asking about getting into TVR ownership I saw the RAC man/was recovered 3 times in over 20 years I have had the same in 3 months with the Cayman.
You enjoying the Cayman?German reliability LOL.
So overall, I enjoyed the way it dealt with a "B" road, the comfort, the Air Con that worked, all the toys etc. I didn't like the way it boomed in the cabin at motorway speeds and while it returned a good MPG figure due to the stupidly long gearing it never came alive unless you absolutely ragged it through the gears. It would be so much better if they had the first three gears covering 0 to 80 instead of the first 2. Using 2 gear for a fast overtake on a single carriageway just doesn't feel right to me.
Overall though I just didn't trust it to either start or to get me to my destination if it did start.
So as you can tell this is all in the past tense, it has gone!!!
Watch this space for the replacement.
As discussed previously Nigel the lady who puts 66% of the money into these things has vetoed the F Type as too big and too aggressive looking. She isn't going to budge so i am not even going to bother driving something I won't be able to have.
Shame really as I see it as a lovely car, sound, looks and from what I read a good drive. Have you got yours yet?

Good call Crimbo, when I was looking for mine about 5 years back the Emotion CR Kai's were a minimum of £2,300 and then they started to go up in the following years.
The CR Kai looks to have been replaced with the Ultimate Kiwami but at around £1,200 for the set those prices are almost the same as I paid for the Rota Torque Drifts.
