The passenger side sun visor in my Griff keeps dropping down while driving. The friction bits inside are knackered, I desperately need a new one.
Can anyone help with what it was out of, although I thought it was a TVR part, or has anyone got a Navy blue one they want to sell me please?

Unscrew it from the roof channel and remove the visor. Put some insulation tape around the pegs ..put it back together and perform a TVR factory fix for nothing smile .

Have a look at Capri sun visors. They fitted on my 93 Chimaera. The tape would work but assumed they were available parts so threw the loose one away! I even sprayed them black and it looked good.

Thanks for the advise, I am going to look around for old skool Fords then as the mirror could do with a new one as well

Ah.. but I'm talking vanity mirror in visor rather than interior rear view mirror

from previous posts, I am lead to believe the Ford Capri was the donor car for this part?

Mine still slops down and I'd love to find a modern replacement donor part as I've already ripped mine out thru shear frustration
